The day my students met award-winning Spanish Director, Jorge Naranjo!

What a great day we had when my Home Education Spanish group got to meet Spanish Film Director, Jorge Naranjo and Spanish Composer, Manu Arteaga

Multi award-winning director Jorge was over from Madrid for a long weekend to work on the production of some music tracks with Manu Arteaga and they took some time out of their busy schedule to stop in and talk to my students.

Jorge and Manu did a question and answer session with the students and helped them with their Spanish.  The students then asked them about the projects that they were working on and Jorge told us about his latest film, Cumple Vidas, a short movie made with a Children’s Cancer Charity, which has just had its premiere in Madrid.

They also talked about some music recording that they were doing for Yorch y los Aeronautas and gave us all the gossip about another short film that they’ve worked on together called:  Un Billete a Nunca Jamas, which now features in the shortlisted nominees for the Goya, an award similar to the British BAFTA.

Gracias Jorge Naranjo and Manu Arteaga for taking time to talk to us!!

And don’t forget, if you want to learn Spanish with me, get in touch!  I can’t promise award-winning directors popping in every week, but I’ll do my best!!
